Antenatal Clinic

Baby Clinic

Wednesday 2.00 – 4.00pm by appointment only.
The baby clinics are run by Dr Collins and our health visitors for child developmental checks and immunisations and allow an opportunity to discuss other problems, eg sleeping, feeding and child health worries, with a doctor or health visitor.

Diabetic Clinic

Dr McCormack and Nurse Nicola Patton run the diabetic clinic. Patients are offered appropriate education and advice to help maximise control of blood sugar levels and reduce the risk of complication of diabetes. Details available on request.

Family Planning

Contraceptive care is provided by all the doctors during surgery hours.

Well Woman Clinics

This clinic is run for smears and discussion of women’s health issues. Contact reception for details of times. All women aged 24-64 should have a smear at least every five years.

Minor Surgery

If you wish to have a minor surgical procedure you must speak to a GP first. Dr McCormack and Dr Collins carry out minor surgical procedures.

Non-NHS Examinations

The doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving license, by appointment outside surgery hours. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment. Reception can advise on the charges for these services.

Travel Vaccinations

We are no longer offering this service. Please check with local private travel clinics.

Monday 9:00am – 12:20pm  
Tuesday 9:00am – 12:20pm 2:00pm – 5:30pm
Wednesday 9:00am – 12:20pm 2:00pm – 5:30pm
Thursday 9:00am – 12:20pm  
Friday 9:00am – 12:20pm  

We run an appointment system in the treatment room – please book through reception.

Flu Vaccination

An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients over 65 or with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and residential homes. Please contact the reception staff in October for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend the surgery, a home visit will be arranged to undertake this facility.

Warfarin Clinic

Nurse Collins runs the Warfarin Clinic, usually on a Tuesday afternoon in the treatment room.

Wart Clinic

There will be no Wart Clinic operating at the practice until further notice.

Physiotherapy

Refer yourself to Physiotherapy. You can now refer yourself directly to Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy without having to see your GP.
