Update for patients on services available (June 2023)

Services at present

GP Consultations – call each morning from 8.30am and up to 10.30am to request a telephone call back (From 8.00am via Patient Access – contact a receptionist to register)

Asthma/Diabetes/COPD – initial telephone review with practice nurse/pharmacist – request with reception

INR – normal service – please check with reception/nurse

Treatment Room – essential bloods/dressings only – by appointment only – following direction by GP

Minor Surgery – following telephone consultation with GP

Ear Syringing  – not available – patients will have to consider private providers

24 Hr Blood Pressure – not available at present

24 Hr ECG – not available at present

Baby Clinic Vaccinations – ongoing – by appointment only

Baby Clinic GP appointments – please call surgery in advance to request

Community Midwife appointments – Contact Finaghy Health Centre – 028 9504 2650

Prescriptions – patients are asked to nominate a local chemist to collect prescriptions. Any urgent on the day items will be telephoned/faxed (with the exception of controlled drugs) to the nominated chemist. Please check with your chemist that they collect from the practice or arrange for delivery to your nominated chemist. This may require patients sending in stamped addressed envelopes.

Patient Letters/Sick lines – all documents that patients require are being sent via secure text service
